May 5th – 9th: Staff Appreciation Week
Show your child’s teachers how much you appreciate what they do with a kind note or small gift. Need ideas? Check our wall in the multipurpose room for a list of your child’s teacher’s likes and dislikes.
May 9th: Muffins with Mom
Moms are invited to celebrate Mother’s Day with their child from 6 am – 9 am. We will be providing muffins for all Moms who attend; no R.S.V.P. necessary!
May 16th: School Picnic at Sylvan Springs Park
Celebrate the impending summer at our school picnic! Food will be provided and a balloon artist will be performing from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.
May 22nd: Preschool Graduation
They grow up so fast! Get the camera ready and join us for your child’s preschool graduation ceremony held at Casa Dia Montessori of Mehlville at 7 pm.

Monday: Mexican Fiesta Day
The kids will enjoy tacos for lunch and chips & salsa for their snack
Tuesday: Disney Day
Dress in your favorite Disney t-shirt or general Disney-wear. No costumes please!
Wednesday: Hat Day
Wear your favorite or craziest hat.
Thursday: Neon Day
Wear neon-colored clothing.
Friday: Black and White Day
Wear black and white clothing.
May 16th: Preschool & Kindergarten Graduation
Celebrate your child’s graduation from preschool or kindergarten. There will be a ceremony at Casa Dia Montessori of Crestwood, as well as a luncheon for families. Please R.S.V.P. to the main office specifying the number of people who will be attending the events.
May 26th: Memorial Day
Casa Dia Montessori of Crestwood will be closed on Memorial Day.
May 30th: School Picnic at Kirkwood Park
Children and their families are invited to a school picnic. The event starts at 5:30 pm with a Catered dinner at 6:30 pm. There will be attendance prizes, a playground, and snow cones at the park’s concession stand. Please R.S.V.P. to the main office specifying the number of people who will be attending.

The Centre at Conway would like to thank all their families for helping to make a special week for the staff.
May 9th: Mother’s Day Breakfast
We will be having an open breakfast buffet for our mothers and children between 7:30 and 8 pm. All students and their mothers are invited; those who do not normally attend school on Fridays are welcome to come to this event. You and your child will eat in your child’s classroom. If you have more than one child, please have the younger child eat in the older child’s classroom. Please let the office now if you will be coming for our food preparation. Happy Mother’s Day to all of you!
(Don’t worry, Dads, we will have a special events for you on Father’s Day!)
May 16th: Parent/Child Appreciation Carnival
Come to our 3rd annual Appreciation Carnival from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Centre at Conway’s back parking lot. The carnival will include a bounce house, games and prizes, snow cones, and more! Children can only attend with their parent. Children will wait in their classrooms until their parents arrive, so please try to leave work early to have fun at the Carnival. Our staff is not allowed to take to the Carnival since it is in an area that is not fenced in. Siblings are welcome!
You will need to park across the street for this event. Maps will be handed out.
May 19th – 23rd: Spirit Week
Show your spirit with these fun new dressing opportunities!
Monday: Crayon Day
Wear your favorite color.
Tuesday: Sports Day
Wear your favorite sports apparel.
Wednesday: Camouflage Day
Wear your best camouflage.
Thursday: Wack Tacky Day
Wear mismatched clothes.
Friday: Pajama Day
Wear your pajamas with your shoes, no slippers, please!
May 21st: Kindergarten Graduation
Join us at your child’s Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony at Maryville University starting at 6:30 pm. Children should arrive no later than 6:10 in order for us to get their gowns and caps on and to start on time. There will be refreshments after the ceremony. You should consider picking up your Kindergarten Student earlier that day so they can have dinner prior and change. You will receive your Invitation by May 9th. Friends and extended family are welcome; we just need you to RSVP and indicate how many people will be attending.
May 26th: Memorial Day
The Centre at Conway will be closed for Memorial Day.
