February 13: Valentine’s Day Parties
Bring Valentines for your friends! Children will participate in Valentine’s Day parties in their classes at 11:00 a.m. Please check your child’s room for a sign-up sheet to bring treats for the party. Please remember to bring store bought treats only.
February 20: Dance Parties
Dispel the winter blues with dancing. The children will enjoy a Casa Dia Dance Party where
February 25: Speech & Language Screening Forms Due
Permission forms for the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders screening will be due today. This is a valuable, free screening process, as problems with speech and language are evaluated and help is offered to correct any issues. Permission forms will not be accepted past Wednesday.
February 27: Bounce House Day
Expel some of that pent up energy. A bounce house will be set up in the multipurpose room for the children to play in.

February: Snow Schedules
Even though winter is almost over, Missouri weather can be unpredictable. We will do whatever we can to be open, but please be aware of any inclement weather plans. If it’s deemed to be in the best interest of you and the employees, a Snow Schedule will be announced, meaning we will open at 8:30 a.m. You may check for this announcement on KSDK.com, Channel 5, KMOV.com, Channel 4, KMOX, NAMONTESORI.com, and our Facebook Page.

February 13: Valentine’s Day Parties
Can you feel the love? The children will enjoy making cards and eating snacks in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Sign-up sheets will be available for party items and names for Valentine’s cards. Please check with the teachers in your child’s class regarding times for their Valentine’s Party and other information. As always, please make sure that any food brought is peanut-free. If you plan to bring candies that have been separated to hand out to the children, please bring the original bag for us to check.
February 25: Permission Forms Due
Permission forms for the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders are due. Any forms submitted past Wednesday will not be accepted. As a result, your child will not be able to take part in speech and language disorder evaluations.

February 13: Box Tops for Education
We will be collecting more Box Tops for Education throughout the month of February. Our last collection earned $125! Students will be given Ziploc Bags to take home for the next collections.
February 13: Valentine’s Day Parties
The children will have Valentine’s parties in their classrooms. Keep an eye out for sign-up sheets on your child’s classroom door for specific items that will be used in each individual classroom’s celebration.
February 19: “Magnetic Attractions”
Mad Science will pay the school a visit and preform an in-school production of “Magnetic Attractions.” Children will learn about poles and magnets and participate in a hands-on workshop where they can make their own magnet to take home.
