Monday, May 4th through Friday, May 8th: Staff Appreciation Week
To show our appreciation to our staff, we will be celebrating Staff Appreciation Week this week. We would like to acknowledge Stephanie Lyerla and Michelle Moore for their 10 years with us and Margie Wolfmeyer 25 years. Congratulations and thank you for your excellent years of service.
Friday, May 8th: Muffins with Mom
In honor of Mother’s Day, all mothers are invited to join their children for muffins from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Please plan for a few extra minutes to join us at drop-off.
Friday, May 15th: Casa Dia Picnic
The annual Casa Dia picnic will be held today at Suson Park, Lakeside Shelter from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. So come join us for an evening of good food and lots of fun.
Thursday, May 21st: Preschool Graduation
Today, we will be celebrating our preschool graduates with a ceremony followed by snacks. The ceremony will be outside at Casa Dia Montessori of Mehlville at 7:00 p.m. All guests are encouraged to bring a lawn chair for the ceremony.
Monday, May 25th: Memorial Day
The center will be closed today in observance of Memorial Day.
Friday, May 29th: Summer Fun Permission Form Due
Permission forms for Summer Fun are due today. The cost for the program is $40 for each 2 year old, and $50 per child 3 years and older. Please refer to the Summer Fun brochure and announcement board in the front lobby for more information.

Friday, May 1st: Registration Fees
A registration fee of $75.00 will be charged to your account to cover your child’s spot at the center for the 2015 school year. The charges will be added to your account today, but if you feel a mistake has been made, please contact the main office.
If your child enrolled with us this year, your $75 was already paid. If you have more than one child enrolled with us, the $75 fee will cover all of them. If you know your child will not be with us this fall please be sure to inform the office with a note giving us your child’s last day of care. Otherwise, the amount will be applied to your account.
Friday May 8th: Muffins for Mothers
In honor of Mother’s Day, all mothers are invited to come for muffins and coffee. It will be served in the multipurpose room from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Monday, May 11th through Friday, May 15th: Teacher Appreciation & Spirit Week
This week, we will be celebrating Teacher Appreciation and Spirit Week. Each day will have a fun event where both the children and teachers will be able to dress up:
- Monday: Wear Your PJs to School Day—children may wear their pajamas
- Tuesday: Disney and Marvel Day—children may wear their favorite Disney or Marvel shirts or dress up in costumes
- Wednesday: Hat day—children may wear hats
- Thursday: Neon/Tie-Dye Day—children may wear neon or tie-dye
- Friday: Black and White Day—children may dress in black and white
Friday May 15th: Graduation Ceremony
We will have a graduation ceremony for all of the preschool students who are leaving to attend kindergarten or first grade. Parents are invited to join us for a luncheon and ceremony with photo ops. An invitation will go out the last week of April with more information.
Monday May 25th: Summer Program Fees Due
The fee for our Summer Program is due today. This fee is for children in the 2 year old classrooms through Kindergarten.

In celebration of our staff and their hard work, this week is Teacher Appreciation week. Parents are encouraged to contribute by donating gift cards towards a teacher raffle. If any parents are employed by an organization that might be able to contribute food or other goodies, it would really help make this a special week for our staff.
Friday, May 8th: Mother’s Day Breakfast
Happy Mother’s Day! Mothers or special guests are welcome to join their child for breakfast today from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Friday, May 15th: Parent/Child Appreciation Carnival
Join your child for the Parent/Child Appreciation Carnival, a free event from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the school. There are many fun activities for you and your child to enjoy such as a bounce house and face painting. Vendors will be present to provide snacks and other goodies. Please come out and join the fun!
Tuesday, May 21st: Primary and Kindergarten Completion Celebration
Congratulations! Children completing Primary and moving up to Kindergarten or First Grade will be acknowledged and celebrated today. Families are invited to join in celebrating their child’s success in the atrium at 10 a.m. Ice cream, cookies and drinks will be served.
Wednesday, May 22nd: Last Day of School Year
Today will be the last day of the school year.
Monday, May 25th: Memorial Day
The Centre at Conway will be closed today in observance of Memorial Day.
