North American Child Care Centers have some traditions of their own. See what’s happening at your child’s school this December.

Friday, December 5th: St. Nick’s Day
We will celebrate St. Nick Day on Friday, December 5. Children may bring their favorite Christmas book to school. We will also be decorating the tree in the multi-purpose room and singing Christmas Carols. All children are invited to wear their PJ’s to school. Our friends from Bethesda Southgate will be here on December 5 to watch the children decorate the Christmas tree and sing carols.
Monday, December 15th: Immunization Records Deadline
All immunization records must be updated by December 15th. If your child has had immunizations recently we need a copy of their records. You will know we are in need of records if your child has a red immunization notification on their check-in screen. Please stop by the office if you have questions.
Friday, December 19th: Christmas Parties
The children will have Christmas Parties on December 19th from 11:00 am– 12:00 pm. You may sign up to bring goodies for your child’s party. See the list on the classroom door. Please remember that all items must be store bought.
Wednesday, December 24th: School Closes at 3:00 pm
School will close at 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve. Please plan accordingly.
Thursday, December 25th – Friday, December 26th: School Closed

School will close at 3:00 pm on New Years Eve. Please plan accordingly.
Thursday, January 1st – Friday January 2nd: School Closed

Friday, December 12th & Friday December 19th: Holiday Parties
Please check with your child’s classroom to see what date they have picked for their Holiday Party. The teachers may have a sign up sheet on the door for you to help provide snacks for the classroom or they may ask that you donate money to help pay for a pizza party for the class. During the party, parents are always welcome to join. Your child’s classroom’s party could consist of games, music, or a skit.
