Monday, March 2nd: Dr. Seuss’ Birthday
“It is fun to have fun!” Today, we will be celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday. There will be story time for all the children from 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. We will then have a special breakfast of eggs and ham and some of the classes will make fun snacks. There will be movies for the preschoolers 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and for the two year olds at 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Monday, March 2nd & Thursday, March 5th: Language Screenings
The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic for Childhood Language Disorders will be here in the morning to do screenings. Those who have permission forms will have a screening done in the Staff Lounge during the morning. Each screening should last about 10-15 minutes.Those who have filled out and turned in their permission forms on time will have their screening done in the Staff Lounge.
Friday, March 13: Pictures with the Easter Bunny
Everyone looks forward to the arrival of the Easter Bunny! Today, the children will be taking pictures with the Easter Bunny. Please be sure to dress your child for this event. The pictures start at 8:30 a.m.
Friday, March 20: Spring Parties
Each individual class will have spring parties today with snacks and games. Please check with your child’s teacher to see what is needed and for the times. Sign-up sheets will be available in your child’s classroom. Please remember to only bring store bought treats.
Thursday, March 26 & Friday, March 27: Vintage Photos
A blast from the past! Today, all the children will be able to have Vintage Pictures taken. A variety of vintage outfits will be provided that they can choose from. The photo crew will return a few days later for you to view and order your photos. Each session will begin at 8:30 a.m.

Monday, March 2nd through Friday, March 6th: Scholastic Book Fair
To celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss, we will hold our annual Scholastic book fair. This year’s theme is Under the Sea. All book purchases allow the school to earn free books and other school supplies from Scholastic. So make sure to stop by the fair and support the school!
Wednesday, March 4th: Parent Night & Book Raffle
Parent night will be held tonight from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., along with a book raffle.
Thursday, March 12: Kindergarten Conferences
Kindergarten conferences will be held today. A sign-up sheet will be available on your child’s classroom door for you to choose a time that works best for you.
Friday, March 20: First Day of Spring Celebrations
The children will celebrate the first day of spring with snacks and games. Please see your child’s teacher for more information.
