Ms. Ana is from Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has been educating children for over 10 years. She has an associate degree and is working towards her bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is also a mother to a beautiful daughter, Elena. Ms. Ana is hardworking and dedicated to working in any classroom if teachers need extra support or help with children, and she enjoys floating in all the classrooms and getting to spend time with the teachers and children in them.

Ms. Kian is from Iran. She has been working at Casa Dia Montessori for nearly 10 years. She works in the office and helps care for the children in the evening. Ms. Kian is also a teacher at Head Start, where she educates young children. She has an associate degree as a midwife. Ms. Kian is also the mother of two beautiful daughters. Ms. Kian loves to help children achieve their fullest potential in the classroom. She also wants each child to always feel happy and safe.

Ms. Yamin is from California, and she currently resides in St. Louis with her family. She has been caring for children for about a year since she became a mother to her infant son. Yamin has an associate degree for medical assisting as well as teaching experience with young children. Yamin loves being able to help the children in her classroom learn new skills and ideas. She also takes enjoyment in being able to comfort and nurture each child and put smiles on their faces every day.

Ms. Rahima is from Afghanistan. She has been caring for children for three years. Ms. Rahima has a college degree and is also the mother of three beautiful children. She loves spending time with each individual child in the classroom, helping them eat and play together. She is a very kind and honest teacher who dedicates herself to the children and her co-teachers completely.

I was born and raised in New York City. I knew since the third grade that I wanted to become a teacher. I have been teaching elementary and middle school for 20 years in the public school districts of New York City, San Francisco, and most recently, in the City of St. Louis. I love young children as well, and spent two years living in England while I was being trained as a professional nanny.

I love reading, exercising, being outside, cooking , and watching or listening to baseball ( and I apologize as I am a Yankees fan). My favorite activity, however, is spending my free time with my 7-year-old son.
