Ms. Kelly

My name is Kelly and I’m the lead teacher in Preschool Room 1. I have been a lead teacher for almost two years. I had previously been assisting as a lead teacher/assistant teacher for about nine years. I received a Montessori Certification in 2006. I also have applied science degrees in nursing and interior design.

As a teacher, I feel my greatest qualities are patience, positively, and most of all, caring for the children as if they are my own. My favorite part of teaching is watching the children grow not only academically, but socially and emotionally. In my spare time, I enjoy doing fun activities with my family and just relaxing on my couch. One of my favorite quotes by Maria Montessori is:
