Opened in 1989, The Centre at Conway is located on Conway Road in Chesterfield, across from Maryville University and St. Luke's Hospital. Families choose our school because it treats a six-week-old and a five-year-old the same way: as capable of real learning, right now. Every classroom is built around that idea, and every teacher on staff is trained to protect it.
At The Centre at Conway, the five areas of the Montessori curriculum aren't taught one after another. They share one room, and your child decides which one to explore first.
Four programs, one philosophy: real Montessori, start to finish.
From as young as 6 weeks old, your baby gets a dedicated infant room, small groups, and teachers who notice the little things. It's a soft landing for both of you.
Independence through repetition: pouring, buttoning, tidying, and the simple routines that make a two-year-old feel capable.
The full five-area Montessori curriculum in a mixed-age classroom, where older children teach younger ones and everyone moves at their own pace.

Summer doesn't mean a break from curiosity. Our 10-week summer program runs June through August with a new theme each week, keeping preschoolers active, engaged, and ready for what's next.

Really enjoy the teaching and learning style at CAC. My 2 year old has excelled with her ABCs, drawing, singing and cleaning up. Social interaction is great and she obviously has confidence from what she learns.
Our family has been going to Centre at Conway for three years and have always been so impressed with the teachers and staff. As Christoph started his toddler adventures in his new classroom on Monday, I wanted to take a minute to express my sincere gratitude to Conway staff and teachers. Christoph has had such a great experience so far. I would like to thank you Ms. Jasmina, Ms. Sweeta, and Ms. Elma in the infant room. They were wonderful with Christoph and his transition from home to the day care setting.
