We are excited about the start of our Summer Fun Program this year. Ms. Jamie and the staff have planned lots of special theme days and weekly activities for your child. We look forward to a great summer.
A special thanks to all who made our Spring Cantata & Graduation such a success again this year! Each classroom, as well as our Music and Spanish programs, did a great job. It was clear how hard each room worked. Thanks to all of the parents and families who joined us for the performance. We hope you enjoyed it!

June Themes & Special Events
Splash Day Begins June 1
Each week the children can come to school dressed in their swim suits ready for water play outside on their designated day. Towels, water shoes and a change of clothing need to be brought in as well. Parents will be responsible for supplying sunscreen and signing a consent form. Splash Days will be:
Tuesdays - Twos
Wednesdays - Preschool & Kindergarten
Fridays - Toddlers
Swim Lessons Begin June 9
We will once again be offering swim lessons at the West County YMCA. The lessons will be held on Wednesday mornings for 9 weeks. We still have spaces available. See the office for registration forms and more information. Children must be 3 or older and potty trained.
Toddlers & Twos Monthly Theme
Insects & Bugs
All things creepy & crawly will be seen around the toddler and twos rooms. We will read several Eric Carle books which feature wonderful art and learn more about different bugs. One day we will have an outside picnic and talk about the bugs we see. The children will also enjoy a scavenger hunt to try to find all the bugs we talked about.
Preschool Weekly Theme
June 1-4 Spider Week
Spiders are fun creatures to study and this week we will be learning about many types of spiders and their daily life.
Art Project - Spider Handprints
June 7-11 Messy Week
What a week this will be! We will explore our sense of touch with mud, play dough, goop and other messy things will will get our hands on.
June 14-18 Disney Week
We will be having a great time with Disney characters we know and love from books and movies.
Art Project - Mickey Ears
June 21-25 Pet Week
Children will get to share stores and show pictures of their pets at home (even if they are not real.)
Art Project - Animal Collars
June 28-July 2 Hawaiian Week
We will be exploring the state of Hawaii and its features from pineapple to volcanoes. Aloha!

Kindergarten Monthly Theme
Space Camp
We will blast off into outer space and learn about our solar system, planets and constellations. Among our art creations during the month will be Astronaut Robots and Space Rockets.

Field trips are for ages 3 and up only. The cost is $8.00 per child. Parents and grandparent volunteers are appreciated. The cost for in-center visitors is $4.00 per child. All children will participate unless the classroom is informed that a parent does not wish for their child to attend. The bounce house will be for upper level children and is free of charge.
