For those of you who are leaving us to enter elementary school, know that we will miss you and wish you the best in the future. Please stop by and keep in touch as the years go by.
May is filled with many exciting happenings at The Centre At Conway. We look forward to sharing them with you and your family. As summer approaches, please let us know about your summer plans by returning the summer response form sent out a few weeks ago. This will allow us to complete our scheduling and planning of special events. If you have misplaced your form, just stop by the office to notify us of your plans.

May Special Events
May 3
Swim lesson sign ups begin on May 3. Lessons will be held at the West County YMCA on Wednesday mornings starting on June 9 for children ages 3 and up and must be potty trained. Registration forms will only be accepted with payment. Space is limited so don’t wait too late.

Teacher Appreciation Week
Join us in showing our Conway staff how much we appreciate them by returning an Appreciation Note and contributing to our annual teacher appreciation luncheon. Additional forms are available near the front office.

Last Day For Food Drive
We appreciate your contributions of non-perishable food items and personal care items for the needy.
May 4-13
Parent Teacher Conferences
Be sure to sig up to meet with your child's teacher to discuss his/her progress this year. If you are unable to attend on your child’s assigned day, please see the lead teacher to schedule a convenient time to meet. We encourage every parent of children in Toddlers through Kindergarten classrooms to take advantage of this chance to learn more about your child’s development.

Parent’s Night Out & Sleepover
Let the children stay and have fun with us while parents take a night out on their own. Children can sign up to stay until 9:00 p.m. or to stay all night and be picked up by 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning. Dinner, games, movies and flashlight tag are provided. Non-enrolled siblings are also welcome. Registration forms are available outside each office.

Kinderdance Recital
The recital will be held at 5:00 p.m. at DeSmet High School.

Registration Fee
It is that time of the year when family registration fees are due. This year the fee is $75.00. The fee is due by May 18. Should you have any questions about the fee, please stop by the office.
May 21
Animal Parade
All classes will join in the parade, starting at 9:30 a.m., wearing animal masks or costumes. Parents are welcome to attend.
May 24
Spring Cantata & Kindergarten Graduation
Preschool & Kindergarten children will perform song and dance numbers as well as special Spanish recitations. Our Music students will perform as well. Stacy’s Aerobics will not be included in our Cantata this year as Ms. Stacy will be out of town. The Kindergarten Graduation will also take place this evening. Relatives and friends are welcome as well. This event will take place at a church near Manchester and Weidman Roads. Maps will be available.
May 28
Mad Science Visitor
Preschool & Kindergarten children will enjoy a presentation by Mad Science titled “Up Up and Away”. We will get to view and participate in experiments involving the use of air, such as soda bottles and hot air balloons. All children will participate unless parents inform the class that they do not wish for their child to go. The fee is $4.00 per child.
